In a world that rushes forward, sometimes we yearn for the past, for simpler times. That's what this mini series, "Homestead Chronicles," aims to capture.

I drove down Highway 115 in Cornelius, NC, a sprawling suburban city, and glanced around to see an old homestead farm in the middle of sprawl. I was struck by the engulfing urbanization around this timeless structure packed full of history and tales, knowing that soon it would be no more. This inspired me to pause and remember moments when life was slow and connection to the land paramount.

Join me on this journey back in time and rediscover the values of simpler times as you, yourself, pause. Reflect and be present.
