Inspired by Proverbs 8:29 “He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep His command.” This verse beautifully echoes the stillness and order found in the marsh water of this painting - where the tide rests within its sacred limits. Just as the water trust the boundary set for them, we too can rest in the assurance that our lives are held within divine intention.
