Mount Pisgah, standing tall at 5,721 feet, is the highest peak in Western North Carolina, offering breathtaking views and a challenging climb. Not only is it an iconic landmark in the Western North Carolina region, it was the view from my childhood window. As a youth, I would set my gaze to it, oh so far in the distance, and listen to that still, small voice, a quiet whisper to my soul.

“As you walk through life, fix your eyes on the “highest peak”. The fog will come in and make the path unclear but keep climbing. I am with you every step of the way.”

Climbing to the highest peak is not just about reaching the summit, but about the journey that shapes you along the way. Each challenge faced and overcome strengthens your resolve, deepens your character, and presses you into a faith in a God who sees every struggle and knows every triumph.
